Couple weeks ago, my Commanding Officer told me i am leaving to the sandbox on late August or early Septemper, so i need to get ready for another deployment. I was very very happy cuz this is something i always want to do again. Well, couple weeks later after he come back from New Orleans, LA (Commander Conference) he said "I can't add you to deploy with the Unit. Because we can't take the instructor with us and we already over TO" :(.

I sold all my SPS within a week as dirt cheap price. Now it is time for me to get back in the saddle and start to collect them again. I have change my set up around a little bit. Here is the what i have. Please let me know your thought about it

Tank: 4x4x2 Barebottom, approx 200lbs LR
Lighting: 4 x 400w Gallaxy ballast, Radium bulbs. 4x36" retro T-5 with Aquablue plus bulbs
Circulation: 4 tunze 6200, tunze master circulation 1073.090 return
Filtration: BK400Ext skimmer, Schuran multifilter for rowaphos, MTC Pro Ozone reactor, Ozotech Poseidon Ozone generator, Large refugium (4x4x30)

supplement: Large dual chamber Ca reactor

Looks nice man - is that my old Watermelon and Tubs Blues? Intersting news about BK, huh?!

Dav, your Tubs already twice as big. I gave half of the colony to my friend. That is your Watermelon as well.

BK, I have not been in zeovit. But i heard about it from Chad...

I have some Seachem sand coming hopefully tomorrow. It looks like it might be a bit bigger grain size. My stream blows the sand a bit too.

Of course w/ the 6200's you may need gravel not sand :D

Later,

Chad

I'd like to get more info on your ozone set up. How do you like the ozone...can you tell a difference and any improvements? Did you make the ozone reactor yourself or did you have some one make it? I'm thinking of adding ozone but would like to inject it through a reactor if possible. Thanks!

Hello Tom, I really like the Ozotech generator even though it is much more expensive compare to Sanders but it work very well. My water turned crystal clear after 3 days, no more algea on the panel every 2-3 days. I am very happy with the result even tho my ORP still very low 320Mv

The ozone reactor made my MTC Pro as well as the SR14 (subtrates reactor) and the CAF (carbon air filter). MTC made great product for a great price :). (a complete Ozone reactor setup cost approx $650 before shipping)

If you plan to run Ozone and inject it to the reactor. MTC is the way to go. I may have to take my Reactor offline and post it up for sale soon cuz it doesn't work with my electronic air dryer. I need to use the protein skimmer to pull the air through the Electronic air Dryer to the Ozone generator......
