SolaTube = tubular skylight
I have 1 - 10"dia over the dining room table. I also have 2 more in the attic uninstalled for this "future" project. I'd like something bigger than a 90 for this project though, maybe a 24x24x48 or 24x24x60. Need lots of surface area to arrange supplimental lights around the 2 tubes...
How to time the supplimentals will be the question.

As for solatubes- we just moved from a house that had a skylight above the reef aquarium. I think natural lighting is a good idea.

Which post was it that gave you the impression that anyone was upset? There had to be one or you wouldn't have said that. Like I said, I re-read them all and they are all just making good conversation. The only thing they did was disagree with you, which apparently was not the constructive conversation that you were looking for.

Acutally, the people down there seem to have bad attitudes. The toursists were the only ones smiling. Everyone else seemed to be in a huge hurry to get somewhere. It wasn't until we stopped at a fruit stand that we met some old fogie locals who were somewhat pleasant.
