Timer

Okay I currently have a dual manual type coralife timer which seems to have died after 7 months. I need to get a new timer ASAP so looking for suggestions.

I would agree with phill. I have had alot of timers and the intermatics are the only ones that have lasted. Both the digital and mechanical ones work well but the digital provide you with a little more control.

I went out and looked at what they have and well.... I'd have to get multiple timers and splitters to hook everything up like I have it working now. Any other suggestions?

That's what I'm looking at but I don't think it has two seperate timers on it. I think it only has 4 constant on and only the day night outlets. The way I have my tank cycling is actinics coming on and going off an hour before and after the mains..... and after that rude a** on the phone from them.

The intermatics have two recepticals on each timer so wouldnt you just need two? They can also carry 1800 watts if I am correct. That would be four recepticals but they cost about 18.00 a piece, how much are the digital CLs?

I didn't see any with two recepticals but I would need 3 for the light cycle on my tank. 1 actinics 1 moonlight and 1 main light.

hey phljess ive got an intermatic timer the digital one with 2 receptacals does yours control the receptacles individually? i dont believe mine does unless im reading the instructions wrong.

No they dont, that is why I was asking about the CL digital timer. It might have two timers on it but I dont think it would handle the load of my lights. I use two Intermatics and one cheap digital timer for my actinics. I have 1200 MH and 320 VHO over my tank.
