Tiny air bubbles coming from my sand bed

I have a question with my 2month old 210 gal tank. Tiny bubbles are constantly rising out from the sand; has anyone seen this before? It’s like an air line or something under there (which there isn’t). Even when I clean the inside glass and the sand is swept up a bit, more air bubbles start rising up.

Thanks,
Craig

I agree, could be nitrogen bubbles. Also could be air bubbles working their way out of your sand bed.

I agree too. Just let it do its own process, don't worry every tank is different. It could still be "cycling."

If it annoys you just take your hand and mix up that area lightly to make the bubbles go to the top and pop. This also was happening on my rocks as well. The lights make the bubbles come out (heat).

My tank used to have air bubbles leaving the sand bed when it was first setup as well. They did go away after the cycle period. I have not had anymore since. I did also have the bubbles come back only once and that was when i was getting excess algae growth on the sand bed. This was due to old PC bubls. When the bulbs were changed the algae and bubble stopped.

Yeah, I think you guys are right. I trust that it is just do to the initial nitrification cycle and the 1050W of lights I added just under a week ago.

Thanks for the feedback.
Craig
