Whats the best test kits to purchase now a day?
and
What is the best dip for sps before i place them in the tank? Ive never dipped corals before, but i was more of a newbie then now haha.

As far as dip I like coralRX it works great with little to no stress to the coral.

Looking back on it I wish I would have run a carbon and a gfo reactor from day one. I didn't put one in until I ran into problems with algea and it took for ever to get under control.

You can buy a simple reactor for about $40. If you don't want to buy a reactor, you can just buy some GFO or Carbon and run it in a filter bag in your sump. They're very cheap and a requirement, IMO.

Awesome ma man. What type / brand would u recommend? I wouldnt mind spending ~100$ but i dont want to get something thats going to drop me 400 bones.
Thanks again!!!

I bought one a year ago and I spent $80. That's a phosban reactor, phosban,& a rio pump. The carbon I run off of my chiller return in mag 350 cartridge.

Really the only phosphate reactors that cost $400 are the Deltec/KZ ones, as far as I know.

Check out Bulk Reef Supply or the Two Little Fishies reactors. They definitely won't break the budget.
