ok so i got a Condy just because i wanted to get used to the care and mantenience of having one but in the long one i want to get one that my clowns will host and hoefully they wont try to host this one because ive heard the horror stories...so whenever i find one i want to buy in the future how would i go about removing this condy so i can put it up for adotion at my lfs?

thanks for the help!

They tend to move quite a bit. Just wait until it's on the move (usually at night) and grab it.

Where is it in the tank? What is it grabbing on to?

its in between a rock and the sand bed in a crevice hes been there for the last few days so i think he might be setting up camp for awhilei havnt seen him move since the day i got him he slowly scoted over to the rock then into that crevice and has seemed pretty happy.

Point a powerhead at him, he'll move. Mine never stayed in one spot for more than a week, so I never really had any problems. Make it harder for it to get into the rock any further so it might head to the sand instead.

ok great ill try that if he decides not to move in a week or so then ill scoop him up outta the sand....thanks alot for the info jasonrp104!

i just got one and he is stuck to the bag. how can i get it off the bag without hurting him?

should peel off fairly easy, with either your finger nail or a credit card...be very careful not to rip his foot though, once it is started it will just pull of though...

and thr power head trick has always put them on the move for me...i have ice on its foot will also make them let go....just dont give him frost bite...

The ice trick is how I got mine to let go of the bag. Too bad that condys are the way they are. I think they are one of the better looking Nems. Mine had a bright orange foot, long white arms with purple tips. Kind of like a poor man's rittieri
