I just had to catch my four-line Wrasse last week and after several hours, two nets and several smoke breaks I nearly threw in the towel. Then I read about a trap online...
Take a two-liter bottle of pop and cut around the top part right above the paper. Then, cut off the top of the bottle so that the top (spout) has an opening about 1.5'' wide. Invert the top piece and place it in the base. Squirt some food in the bottle and wait. It only took about 15 minutes for my wrasse to end up inside and there I was to gloriously get him out!
Edit: After re-reading my post, I didn't word it as well as I should. Here's a picture of what I mean, HTH!
