Is some amount of tissue recession normal during the first week in a new tank, I know my lighting is different the the LFS and I am wondering if that is what is doing it. params are

Ammo 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0-5
PH 8.0
Calcium 520 (stopped dosing til this is lowered)
Salinity 1.025
temp 78-80

Here is a picture of it, note the lights are still out, and I just had to pick it up off the sand as it fell off it's rock last night.

Seems stressed and still adjusting. I wouldn't worry too much. In my case I just added a torch that had one of its three heads completely die off. You'll notice the polyps completely retract and become covered in a slimy substance. In that case it's ok to worry. Oddly enough the other two heads are just fine, as are all my other coral. Water parameters are perfect as well. Coral are strange like that.

It looks ok to me, just not fully open. They can take a little while to fully open. Do you know what your alkalinity is? Also, they tend to retract a little when they are geeting too much flow.

Your boxers look happy BTW. Great dogs!
