im wanting to get a Titan Trigger fish. im looking for advise or info. i seen an article in a Tropical Fish Hobbyist and now can not find it. can anyone help me?
I have one they are very cool.
I have found they do best in a reef type aquarium.
They are readily available and are very cheap if you know what you are looking for.
Most are sold as pinnapple triggere, there are 2 differenet pinneapple triggers though, the yellow margin trigger and the titan tigger both sold as pinnapples.
When you find a pinnapple trigger just make sure it has a moustache then it is a titan.
I have been to wholeslers and most opf the pinnapples are actualy titans and they are always available.
There is a niger trigger, lawnmower blenny, ausie black clarki clown, pink spot watchman goby,2 yellow tail damsels, black velvet damsel, yellow tang,6 line wrasse and 2 cleaner shrimp and a bunch of lps corals soft corals and 2 anemones.
I had one of these chase me for 100 yards. I was fending it off with my camera equipment. It was totally relentless. That said, it was mating and building a nest and I accidentally got too close. Interesting fish if you have a LARGE aquarium.
