Happy to be here
One of my all-time favorite fish is the Majestic Angel. Would you attempt to introduce one in your mixed reef?

and I realize that this issue has probably been debated many times before. Thanks for posting!

even if it is a model citezen and doesnt kill corals it will reduce the PE of your acro/sps and other fleshy corals will retract.

You can forget about Zoas, they are irresistible to them. But I do know a few local reefers that have them and love them, they just live w out their zoas.

I tried all methods, doesnt matter how much they eat and ... they wil go for a snack after lol

but SPS in good water, will get used to it. PE gets reduced a bit overall tohugh anyways.

meaty LPS and zoas, yea they are too tasty for them to resist.

It seems that the concensus points to an individual's personality. Given that, I'll stick to the plan of attack with isolation and frozen/prepared foods. If he kills a bunch of corals, I hope that I can catch him :hmm5:

Alright so I bought the fish. He is hiding in his ultra natural PVC pipe. No way to get a good shot, but I'd say he's a good palm sized young adult. I found the angel thread to end all...I'll post something up after several weeks he gets into the display.

Thank you for your continued posts.

It all depends on the fish.
For angels in general I've seen some that are model citizens in reefs (even with some LPS surprisingly) and others that can't be kept with any coral.
I've also seen model citizens become terrorist as they grow larger (probably from being hungry, but regardless the result is the same.)
So it's up to you if your willing to take the chance and possibly have to decide "Fish or Coral?"
