To soon to use salt min...?

I need to mix and use about 80 gs of salt water to fill another 125 g sump. I have it alittle more than half full. I need to fill it up tonight.

After the temp and salinity is set how spoon could I us it safely. In the pasts I've use it instantly before. I usually wait a day but I'm in a bind. Will it be bad to add it after a hr or so keeping in mind it will be about 80gs of water going inline with my main system/display.

I've used newly mixed saltwater an hour or two after it's been brought up to spec. Larger water exchanges will (obviously) have more potential for stressing animals.

Well in total I have 435 gallons in my system right now (roughly) and I will b adding. Any where between 60 to 80 gs

So it oils be a large ammount but would it still be risky?

I think you will be fine. Obviously it is your decision though.

By the time you add in the water volume and then calculate the percentage of new water, it'd be the same as doing a 12-15% water change with the newly mixed water. If you've got the parameters matching, I don't see any problem with this in my experience.
