In the past, my clownfish will host anything that has tentacle: frogspawn, toadstool, hammer, elegant and etc. Beware that clownfish can aggravated the coral so much that will end up closing most of the time that can lead to death.
Here is my hosting my Duncan: Please do not pay attention to the algae on glass, it will be clean up soon.
It will. I used to have a long-polyped toadstool that hosted my female Clark's clownfish (who wouldn't share it with her mate). After a few days the coral acclimated and stayed open even while she was snuggling into it like it was an anemone. What surprised me was the fact that the polyps would still retract if *I* touched the coral, but stayed out when the clownfish was in it!
If you do a search on YouTube, you'll find lots of videos of toadstools hosting clownfish.
