toadstool coral flopping over...cause?

Sorry man, it's saturday and most don't pay alot of attention then. Can you get a pic? How long has it been in your tank? How old is the tank?? Leathers sometimes close up for a bit with changes in water but are usually pretty hardy.

They will flop around-or stay closed up for a week or two on occasion. The only time to worry is if it starts to disinigrate-which means its on the way out. General water parameters are fine for them, so test your ammonia, nitrite, and trate as well as SG, and Ph. I have seen leather corals survive cycling tanks- so they are tough.

OK thanks Misled and Syrinx. I guess I won`t worry unless it starts to decompose. That is not happening yet. All water parameters are within correct levels
