Toadstool Coral Problem

I have recently had a bad out break of cynobacterial in my and tank and had to reduce my light down to about 8hrs. The cynobacterial has faded away but my Toadstool coral does not look as healthy as it once did. I am now runing my MH lights for 9 hrs and actinics for 12. Is this enough or should I keep increasing my photo period of my MH. If so, how long should MH run and how long should actinics run.

IMO your lighting ios fine.Sometimes TS leathers will close up for a couple of days them when they strat to open up it will shed a waxy film.When it's all done 1-2 days it'll look better than ever!

I agree. Just give it a few days and let it open up on it's own......Mine does this from time to time....

Yeah, my toadstool will go through periods where the polyps don't come out. It's actually doing that at the moment. I believe it is farily normal behavior.

Leathers can be picky, mine does the same, slimes up, and sheds, guess its growing.
