Toadstool killing other toadstool?

I have two separate toadstool corals that came on the same rock. Each are about 6-7 in when fully opened. One is do great and the other is bent over and never opens. I don't think it's because of shedding as I have seen the shedding before and know what it looks like. Could the one that is doing good be killing the other since it seems the other is leaned away from it?

Do you have any pictures?

It is hard to say for sure without a picture. But it is quite possible the healthier one is blocking something the weaker one needs. Light, flow, etc. The weaker one would lean away in order to get a better position for itself.

That is both of them beside each other. I have seen both of them open to 6 in before with much longer tentacles. Now it seems the one on the right wants to open and the one on the left doesn't. This has been going on for a while. Could it be Taft one is effecting the other?

I have had two toadstools one of which was a frag of the other and both fight as far away as 30cm so I would say they could be battling. I'd cut the stronger one away and place somewhere else and run carbon for a few week.
