Toadstool leather not expanding

Hi,

I noticed recently that my toadstool leather is not expanding it's polyps. It stays fairly smooth and has been for the past few days. This is definitely not normal behavior for this coral. It's offspring seem to extend their polyps with no issue. I did notice that the ph was a bit low, but not extremely low, could this be the cause? All my other soft corals look great. Let me know if there is something that can be done.

Thanks,
Dave

blast it with flow once a day and make sure you have some iodine in the tank (,06 is natural sea water). It is probably just going through a shedding/growth phase.

Thanks for the info. I've seen it slough off, but it never took this long, additionally at the base of it foot, there is discoloration (white in color) as compared to the rest of it. Iodine is added weekly to the tank.
