Toadstool Mounting Question

I bought a Yellow Fiji Toadstool a few weeks ago and it wasn't mounted onto a rock so the base is nice and rough and has bits of the sand stuck in it too. I want it to establish and attach to my rock. How should I go about doing this? I really love this little guy and I dont wanna lose it. When it is fully open the head of the shroom is 4" in diameter.

push a tooth pick through the base and then rubberband the tooth pick to a piece of rubble rock or a frag plug
