That is a normal price for a reasonable sized toadstool around here at a normal LFS. My personal opinion is no, it is not worth it, but in the big scheme of things, I guess it is.
I just always think about how many $5 frags of that are floating around at local swaps IF they can even sell them at all.
My perspective has been totally ruined by swaps

They rule, and I haven't bought a big colony of anything since years ago doing a team buy of walt smith Acro heads. So, to me, $80 vs probably a couple PM's to get one close to free somewhere is hard to justify.
What's happening in baltimore's reefclub scene? get hooked up with those folks and you probably can get a half dozen different leather frags for that same $80
If this is a good one, like with screaming green polyps, that makes it more worth $80
edit:
oh yeah, RC has several forums that may help you out.
In the main menu, scroll all the way down to the bottom to find "reefclub forums" it is dark blue. find the baltimore/area forum and post what you are looking for there
there is also a buying/selling area for "wanted to buy". the RC collective has waaay better stuff than any retailer and the cost of shipping usually is outweighed by the extra value of the corals you get.
