My toadstool doesn't seem to be fully extending like others I've see. I have had it about 4 months but it never extends more than shown. I have it high in the tank in a medium flow area. Not sure if maybe this type doesn't any further of if something is not right. Also it will extend for a day or two and then nothing for a couple of days. should it be extending every day?
I have a 120 and my parameters are: temp 80, PH 8, Ammonia 0, Nitrate 0, Nitrite 0, phosphate 0.08, calcium 350, mag 1360, sp gravity 1.027, Alk 5.6
