toadstool not opening up

hi, our taodstool has been in our tank for at least two months and has been doing great. it has grown alot and looks really good. but for the last few days he hasnt out strecthed all the way all his polps are out but he stays closed up. could this be a sign that he isnt doing so well anymore or do they sometime just do that for a few days. id really appricate any info

I wouldnt worry too much...leathers are weird like that sometimes. Check your water params...cant do anything more before you figure out if there even is a problem...

SG
Nitrates
Phosphates
pH
Temp
etc...

Find those and go from there. More than likely you got high nitrates or your salt is a bit off...or the leather is just picky

If it's not melting assume it's fine and leave it alone.

sometime they do this, mine does this when it`s changing it`s skin

Most likely it is changing its skin. It does this when it has a growth spurt.
