I have a Toadstool question. i recently purchased a colony of them (7 total on a flat rock largest head has the diameter of a tennisball, the smallest a fiftycent piece) Recently I mean about 2 months ago. My question is do their stalks typically stand up straight or lay down? i thought they stood upright more but mine are arcing and kinda laying down. The polys come out great on all the heads. I dont have my current parameters as its been a week and will be rechecking this weekend. My tank is a 75 gal thats been running for 2 years now, and was previously in a 55gal. for 3yrs.

Any input would be greatly appreciated,

Paul

They could be stretching out for more light if they are crowded together on a single rock. I have a bunch of them together and the ones in the middle are straight up but the ones to the side are reaching away to get more light.

thanks for the reply. They are all not touching and are stll laying down. I broke one off the rock off and moved it away to a different area of the tank to see a week or so ago and it is still is laying down. It must be water parameters is what Im thinking.
