I just got a toby yesterday, posted previously for ID...
It is not feeding yet and hiding in the corner of the tank, The tank is a frag tank with two OSFF and two juv unknown filefish... Should I provide some rocks for it to hide in as I read they dun like strong light and like to use their stomach to stick to some where it like to sleep..

Yes, I would give him somewhere to hide - either rocks or a small pvc pipe. My toby (which I think is the same as yours, a c. solandri) has no issues with the light, but they do need to adjust to your light, tankmates, etc. A hiding place will make him more secure.

Feed him frozen meaty food - mysis is always good. They won't take pellets or flakes.

Gave her some rocks to hide but she still stick herself to a dangerous place, beside a pump... :angryfire:

How long will it take for them to get used to the surrounding and venture out more...

I am feeding my homemade frozen food, mixed with mysis so there is a variety in size...

She is eating a lot but only venture out at after lights out... I notice its stomach will have a uneven bloat after eating, it should be normal right?
