overview
Size: 8"
Large Vietnamese Ritteri anemone. This anemone has a green oral disc and mouth. The tentacles of this anemone stick well and are green and purple. The underside of the oral disc is pink, with a purple column and pedal disc. This Ritteri anemone prefers to attach to a large rock and strong alternating water flow. The anemone is maintained under 250-Watt Aqualine Buschke HQI double ended metal halide bulbs that are suspended 18" above the water surface in a raceway that is 16" deep. This anemone is fully quarantined, and is feeding well on a mix of PE Mysis and finely chopped raw shrimp. The diameter of the pedal disc is 3" and the anemone is 8" in diameter when fully open. These anemones are very sensitive to even small traces of Nitrate and Phosphate in the water, and are sensitive to rapid fluctuations in Alkalinity.

I had one before it was smashed by an mp10 :deadhorse:

I think you need to expand your anemone condo, maybe add a few more tanks.

I lost count on how many Magnificas you have ;)

i gotta stay away from him. his mag fever is contagious and i almost have an impulse to make over my tank to an anemone dedicated one

Is it just me or does he have a sky blue mouth? Pink column...man...

Every Vietnamese Magnifica is beautiful!

Anybody know a vendor that can order us Vietnamese?

I'm extremely suspicious of tentacle coloration in these things. I have seen too many of them fade to a tannish violet. I always go for column coloration.

I agree and the pic was oversaturared. When it's less stressed the green will become very invisible

Mags

Mags

Some colors of mags are unique to different geographic locations but i have seen purple and blue base from Indo,Phillipines,Sri Lanka.

It's on it way and I will let you all know how it looks tomorrow when I get it put in my tank.

Are you f$&@ serious?!?! I've been wondering who got him. Couldn't sleep. Lol

You were super quick, but I didn't get as ready as I normally do. You got lucky because I had him in my cart and you barely beat me on payment. You actually took him out of my cart when you hit submit payment. Seconds bro...2-3 max. Lucky!!

If that mag has a blue mouth, I'll pay you and personally fly in to come frag him one day if you want to. The next awesome mag I get, I'm fragging him and giving half to Minh since he lives in Texas with me. That way if one dies, he'll have the other.

Don't put him in ur DT. Put him in HT 1st. If he starts to deflate or mouth is open, treat with Septra first. If no response in 36 hrs, stop the Septra and Start Cipro for 5-9 days. Please keep me posted, I don't want you to loose him. PM or call me if you need help. 713-504-2100
