Tomato Clownfish

I have a beautiful 2.5-3" tomato clownfish (seen here: Link ) and I have been hoping he would host in one of my many LPS corals that seem perfect for him. So far (over one month with him) he has not hosted, and tends to be the most agressive fish in the tank (see fish list below). I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to how best to encourage him to host on one of the corals (also listed below) other than the bubble (he hangs around it, but doesnt snuggle up to it). Thanks so much for your help.

Time is really the only thing that you can do. I know it isn't the answer you wanted, but that is really the only thing that will work.

It has taken one of my pairs of clowns over a month and a half to be hosted by anemone.

my tomtos are both very hostile. even pushes the foxface and volitan around like its no big deal.... mean little snots even bite me if my hand gets too close

While not quite that mean (biting me) my tomato terrorizes my foxface, my tangs and even at times my goby. he has a nasty temper, im thinking of selling him off. any ideas on settling him down?

my tomato pair are like that too very aggressive to aggressive for my taste ,I finally decided to part with them and get some false percs

sadly I am considering doing that. i wish I didnt have to, but he is too agressive for my nature, and pretty big for my tank.

my 4 yo is attached to her so she's gotta stay.plus she just started laying clutches of eggs so i am guessing shes just a protective mom

Doug, as far as the aggression goes, move your clown to a QT for 2-3 weeks, then reintroduce him. This may calm him down as the new "last fish in the tank".

With the hosting, maybe someone else can chime in but I am not sure your LPS coral choices are typical host corals for clowns.

I have been under the impression that they will host in numerous varieties of my LPS corals. I have seen some False Percs hosted in Hairy Mushrooms, and seen Maroons hosted in Hammer Corals. Are the Tomatoes different?
