Tomato clowns? 125 reef suggestions

So, I am reading all these anemone and fish posts and looking at all the great pictures and I notice something:

Lots of Ocellaris clowns, a few less Percula clowns, a few skunks, sebae, and clarks clowns, one or two pics of Maroon clowns but, NO Tomato clowns. Is there a reason no one has tomato clowns? I am more into the natural colored clowns than the designer clowns.

Yet, when I visit the LFS, it is mostly tomatoes, Ocellaris and sebae I see.

I have a 125 reef tank and want to add either a pair of true Percs, maybe Onyx, or a Tomato for the bright red. I am not opposed to skunk clowns. I have successfully kept BTA and LTA for several years. Moved and set up this new tank. Is the lighting and flow sufficient for one of the other anemones?

Here is my reef tank, what would be the best clown/anamone combo for this tank?

Livestock: 1 Rock Beauty, 1 Hippo tang, 2 Royal Gramas, 1 Yellowhead jawfish, 2 Pajama cardinals, 2 yellowtail damsels, 2 Talbot's damsels, 1 firefish. I know the angel and tang wilol get bigger but, I don't feel it is overcrowded.

Lighting Photon 48 LED
Flow: 1200 GPH sump, 2 Korella 1050 Powerheads, 2 Korella 425 nano powerheads.

Beautiful Tank! I've had both Cinnamon and Tomato clowns. They're both beautiful clowns, but are quite aggressive species. I also believe they host in very few anemone. Cinnamons will only host in Bubble Tips or so I believe. Both of these also grow quite large and can bully other species. Since Clowns are related to Damsels, you may find that there will be territory "wars" going on.

I agree they are quite aggressive. I do have one in a 110 with a black trigger and a couple of huge pajama cardinals like you have, and although it will bite me- it does not bother the other fish. Getting a pair though is another story, as they may claim 3 feet of your tank as territory. One of those things you just have to try and see if it works for you. I have gotten tomatoes to accept LTAs before.

IMO, I wont go with Tomato. He is very aggressive. My uncle has a 20gal tank with 2 ocellaris and 1 tomato -> he beat them so bad @____@

Thats got nothing to do with the tomato- rather your uncle. You do not mix species- especially in a undersized tank.

OK. I have been looking at anemones. I am thinking a carpet and either 2 Percs or Orange skunks. I have nixed the Tomato idea due to their aggression.
I have a 4" deep sand bed so, I figure I can keep a Haddoni (or a LTA) in one or two of the open sandy areas.
Anyone have experience with Haddoni? Some sites rate them as very aggressive fish eaters. I would buy one or two of the colored varieties.
Would I be better off with a different carpet?

Out of all of the clowns Ive kept, my all time favorite was my single orange skunk clown. She was peaceful, always out and really unique looking "is that a clownfish?". Unfortunately I lost her in a velvet outbreak, looking to get a pair :fun4:

Brings back memories. Back in the dark ages of reef keeping, pair of tomato clowns my first success. Loved mine, lasted several years...

My tomato is a bully. sHe bosses around tangs twice his size. That being said, she is is the only red in my tank and i love the way she paces around. Very interactive fish

I have a 125g tank. A pair of tomatoes on left side and mochas on right. When we first introduced the tomatoes, the female was very aggressive..nipping at other fish, chasing them.. Now they rarely leave their corner. Their bright red color really is stunning. And they've also never once attacked me unlike the mochas..
