Tomato clowns

I've thought about this a couple of times before, and with my impending move, now seems as good a time as any since I'll be gutting all of my tanks and starting fresh.

I'm going to set up the 40-breeder for clowns and an anemone. I have researched the lights (thanks to a previous thread on here). I'll get everything up and running, then let it settle for awhile before adding the anemone (BTA).

Here's the thing, I'd like to have a pair of clowns and a couple other small fish, if possible. The problem is that my favorites are tomato clowns and I keep reading on here that they can be expected to be pretty boisterous in a tank that size.

Am I going to be able to have any other fish in there with the tomato clowns or am I going to be restricted to percs and occellaris? Any others that may be an acceptable choice?

If I understand your question, yes you can have other fish in the tank.I had a Bicolor Angle, some gobies and other small fish in with my pair. But Tomatos are mean and aggresive and need to be watched. If you dont have the clownfish now,I would add them last and add the other fish first.
