Tomato Digging in the sand?

just a quick Q, im laughing like crazy while i watch my tomato clown kick sand EVERYWHERE from the front left corner of my tank. All thats in there is a blue chromis and hes just staring as well.

Is this normal? Is the little guy looking for an anenome or something?

pretty normal. I don't think anyone has found a true cause but most clownfishes will act that way.

My Clarkii do this about an hour or so after I feed them. I assume they are looking for more food (little pigs!).

my maroon started this a few weeks ago. after shes done she'll pick up some rocks spit them on the other side of the tank then start all over agian. shes almost to the glass. its right under her bta. she also kicks out hermits n such from her ditch.

I just write it off as her cleaning her house
