Ok, I've had this clown for 1 week now. He's a larger tomato clown but has been getting along with everyone fairly well. last night he took my Bubble Tip Anemone and was throwing him all over the tank. He flipped over one of my candy cane corals during the process. This morning I woke up to a different tank. The sand was moved all over the tank. Apparently the Bubble Tip set himself against the bottom off a rock. The tomato moved all the sand away from the rock so he could get close the the Bubble Tip. I havn't noticed him host this anemone yet but what is the deal? Anyone heard of this behavior or seen this before?

A lot of different clowns will move out the sand from under their host so they can get under it! My tomato, clarkii and, skunks all do this.

As for the tomato clowns go, they can be vaery tempermental! I have had mine know foe 14 years and every time I add somthing new live or not he will go after it. He has bit me on more than one occaison. I now trap him in a fish trap befor I add anything.

Yeh, maroons are bad about stuff like that. I didnt think the tomato would do it though. Taking him back settled down everything in the tank.

yes

yes

My first clown was a Tomato and it eventually ended up in its own tank, it killed everything else.
