Thanks guys im dying to find out myself! This is my first try at raising clownfish fry so hopefully i have it right :) Funny part is a almost booted the Tomatoe a few months back but i couldnt get her out of the tank. She was nasty LOL Im glad she was faster than me with the net! Ill try for another pic sometime today using a different glass :) Im also trying to raise Reidi seahorses. I have one batch at 15 days and another batch at 2 days :) Here is a video of my seahorse giving birth on Sunday morning :)

Just an FYI the file is 43 megs all 1 minute and 11 seconds of it :)

Just a question, Chris... how come you put a breeding seahorse in the same tank with those clowns? Wouldn't the fries be eaten? And even if it's not breeding would it be possible to put them in the same tank? How would the seahorse eat?

I'm asking these because I'm considering to get a seahorse in my 18.5 gal alongside my polymnus clown.

The clowns dont eat frozen mysis so i have no issues there. They dont seem to care for seahorse fry either and just ignore them. I usually get the fry out very shortly after birth. Clowns can be kept with horses usually. You just have to be prepared to move them if they become a problem. I have a non breeding pair of clowns with the seahorses. I hope this helps you.

I dont know why they dont. They just stare at it as it floats by! They only eat flakes and pellet food. Im not complaining!

Thanks Chris for the answer now I'm really leaning towards buying a seahorse. Problem is, my clown eats almost everything, she's even hungrier than my previous clown (occelaris), who I thought was the pig of all fish. :)

Or I may not... and buy myself a mandarin... but either way I know I will wait for another 1-2 months before adding another.

Maybe the mysis are too big for the juvi's? I use a cheese grater and grate up about 1/4 flat of PE Mysis. The GSM Juvi's go nuts over the stuff. You would think I was feeding them cyclopeeze or something!

No they can eat it if they want. They just have no interest in it. Weird but im not complaining :)

Heres some new pics! There just about an inch long now. :)
