Tomoko's frags

Hi y'all,

Here are some of the frags that I am bringing. My pictures are a bit dark since I don't know what I am doing with the new camera I got, but I think you can get an idea of my frags.

Here's some zoanthids such as AOG, blues and orange ones.

I will also bring a bunch of ceramic reef plugs (25 cents per piece.)

My frags above are generally $10 to $15 per frag except for Purple Death and Nuclear Green. Please PM me if you are interested in my Purple Death or Nuclear Green frag.

I would be interested in the blue zoos on the right of the first pic. A frag of purple monti cap in the background of the second. The bright blue milli frag. And depending your PM response, a super duper lethal purple zoo. Thanx.

Looks like you have a nice frag set up! Wish I was buying this swap because your stuff is awsome! I am moving tanks this year and don't want to add anyhthing to possiably loose in a move but looking at all this nice pre-sells going on I am having a hard time! Like an alchoholic in a beer joint

Haha, I know the feeling too well, Angela. We are all nuts about corals, aren't we?!

By the way I've been meaning to send you an email about enkamat. I recall you have modded your ASM skimmer with it. How's the skimmer performing? I am very interested in doing the mod, now. Do you have a big enough sheet to mod an ASM G-2 to spare? If so, I'd like to buy it from you. Any tips on the mod will be appreciated greatly, too. I hear that trimming the sheet to fit the pump housing may be tricky. Did you have to trim it a few times to get it right?

I am sure I will have to put forth super will power not to buy things but I must resist! I am trying to condence everything I want to keep from a 270 to a 55 as it is! I will bring you enouph to do the mod, no charge. I sold enouph to make my investment back. It only takes a little dab and I didn't have to trim it down but I tried to use the scrub mat first (cheaper) and it was too thick and the pump wouldn't turn over. I did put on 3 layers and went down to two on the enkamat. It was getting stuck because it was a little to big, just make sure it is a tiny bit smaller than the disc or exactly the same and you should be fine. I drilled a few extra holes in the disc and used fishing line and tied mine down real good and it works like a champ. I secured it down as a square and then trimmed it to fit the disc and that worked fine for me. I am not sure how much more air I am getting but it went up significantly. I also did the recirculate mod and I think it does as much as the mesh letting the water dwell even longer in the chamber fed with a maxijet 1200. (I have the G2 also) I pull some thick nasty goo with my set up now. The recirculate mod also slows down the splashing from the standpipe so the salt creep is no issue anymore. Just find me at the swap :).

Thank you very much for the offer and the information. I am going one step at a time. I will do the enkamat first. I need to find out the nitty gritty from you about how to mod my G-2 for the recirc. I sure don't want to crack the body of my G-2 trying to drill a hole.

Tomoko

I was worried about that also but it drilled with no problem at all. Its a kinda pain to get the skimmer body and pump to line up and not have any bubble leaks when you recirculate it but once I finnally got mine stuck together I don't dare touch it. I really like the idea of a longer dwell time for the water in the chamber. My MJ 1200 doesn't "blow" big hunks of deitrus in the skimmer to be skimmed but my fuge and a few baffels are infront of the skimmer so I am only processing the organics out of the water and not bigger floaty things as it is. OK free bump to the top for your fraggs and I will see ya next weekend :).

I don't know if I can cut a really good sized frag any more off the mother colony. It's been rather popular this time.
