Toms Aquarium RAPIDS PRO SERIES: PS4

Has anyone used one of these filters that could provide a little feedback? I currently just have a 25 gallon reef tank but am thinking that this should also work when I upgrade. I am expecting to go to a 90 gallon at some time in the future.

most people will try to steer you clear of that system. i had originally planned on using it for my 30g but when i found out that the bottom pane of my tank was not tempered i decided to drill it and use a sump instead. i still think they are a good option. most people dont. just search for "rapids pro" and you will find some useful info. i tried to give you some links but the search function wont work for me right now.

Edit: not that theres anything necessarily WRONG with that system. the general consensus is that it just isnt an adequate means of skimming/filtration. personally, i feel that the skimmer isn't that great, most air-driven ones aren't. but other than that the surface skimmer and filter/sump are good.
