Tongs sale

But the problem is most if not all of you keep coming back. For them they must doing a right thing. I never been to any LFS so I don't really know much.

In the world of business, I think it's hard to find good and honest people, don't get me wrong, there are alot of them out there. But again it's hard to find.

I don't know much but, I think they are free to charge whatever price they like. That is why they have sign, that say something like they have the right to sell to whoever they like or something like, price change without notice.

The funny thing was I keep hearing about this problem and most people are keep coming back or buying from them.

Well, I did went to this pet place off of tustin and chapman and end up paying 18.00 for a small bottle of old kalkwasser because I needed..what a rip off.

Demand and Supply, they got the stuff you want it, you will end up paying whatever it cost to have it. OR wait forever for online order.

my 2 cent, I don't like LFS they suck but again they need to pay rent and feed their family and their mansion and their 200K car.

We need to file a complaint with the better business bureau. Having a "sale" and raising prices is flat out illegal and extremely deceptive--they will keep doing it until we organize a complaint against them

I dont like what Tongs does either but I'm sure they are able to sell at whatever price they want and they can call it a sale too.

Like the little furniture stores that are always having the blow out, clearance, once a year sale! The prices never change.

My 2 cents.

Is the owner the dude with the H2? Last time I was in there the guy was behind the counter loading bullets into a cartridge for a Steyr bullpup rifle. I'm like ***???

The fact of the matter is that CA law is very clear that you can not advertise things on sale when they are not! If you bought someting at the sale and go back in and the price is lower you should demand the discount on the normal price. Or take pics and file a complaint!

Don't fish stores change the price on the fish all the time due to who they get it from. I've seen two of the same fish at different prices before. haha, however, i know tong's is notorious for that as well. I called them out on it with the purple tangs being marked up to 69.99 and a couple days ago it was 49.99.

Ok are you going to leave use hanging like that? What did they say when you called them out on it?

haha sorry, I said to one of the guys that helps me out all the time so I joked around about it with him and he just didn't have anything to say back and told me to shut up. Joking of course haha. Either way, they know.

I like tongs because of its frag tank. Does Coral Oasis have a frag tank. And whats about coal that is better than tongs? Never been at Coral. Is it cheaper? Also, is Coral Oasis anywhere near UCI?

i guess most people here at RC don't like tong, i kinda do too after many unlike incident, rude employee, etccc.

I like Tongs alot but just to visit. I dont ask questions so I never encounter a rude employee. Its the only fish store I know that carries almost every species of fish, corals and equipment (at outrageous prices though). Its also one of the few stores that has the nicest SPS display tanks.

what the location of the tongs you guys are talking about. i must be thinking of a different one........

jjb81speed,

Its the Tongs in Fountain Valley. Its the best store as far as selection but the prices are high and the service is weak.
