Too low Phosphate for SPS?

I just received Hanna Ultra Low Range Phosphate Checker. I measured my BioPellets tank and it was 7PPB!!!! Is not it too low for SPS?

7 part per billion is still on the high side. I prefer them .04 ppm or lower.

Are you using an HI 713 or HI 736?

The HI 736 measures total phosphorus, so multiply your reading by 3.066 (7 x 3.066) = 21.462 ppb PO4 (divide by 1000 = .0214 ppm).
