Too many choices...

I've been reading for weeks now...trying to decide on an HOB skimmer for my 55 gallon. It will eventually be a reef tank. Remora, Coralife, other HOB's? Which is best for this size tank, and a beginner who's looking to spend around $200 on one. I keep reading conflicting opinions...I thought I had it narrowed down to an Aqua C Remora or a Coralife Superskimmer 65 but now I don't know what to think after reading so much. I know reading and researching is good, but geez, I think reading too much can be confusing as well! Please help! Your opinions?

There has been much debate on that topic. I have an AquaC and it works great. I have no experience with any other brand. I am planning on doing a tank in my office at work and am researching the Tunze nano package.

I have experience with both Remora's and coralifes..the Remora is hands down the better skimmer and much easier to adjust. You can even upgrade your pump to a Mag3 with the Remora

I also had a Remora, and it is a good skimmer, especially for that size tank. You will not be disapointed.
