I was wondering if you guys think this would be a good for a 55 gal reef tank setup?

2 Blue mandarin fish
2 Ocellaris Clownfish
1 Yellow tang
1 Blue hippo tang
3 Blue Green Chromis (Chromis viridis)
1 Engineer Goby (Pholidichthys leucotaenia)

All Tangs will unfortunately grow too big for your tank
Mandarins need a well established tank

A dwarf Angel would be nice for your tank and your other choices are fine as well

I wouldn't put the tangs in there. they require a lot more room than a 55 gallon.

And the madarin fish are very difficult to keep, i would recomend saving them untill later, when you know that you will be bale to keep them alive and happy.

Tangs have a 1 Million gallon per fish requirement:lol:

HAHAHA -- We have on this forum what is known as the Tang Police. They are people who value Tangs more than their own children. I recommend first purchasing a good book, Like Reef Fishes by Scott Michaels, read up, then decide on your stocking list. Remember, patience is key in this hobby.

I think 2 madarins is out, and even 1 is pushing it in that size of a tank, unless you have at least 75 lbs of LR (live rock). Even then, you'll need to wait at least 6 months for your tank to establish and have a ton of pods (little bugs the mandarin eats).
