I had my LFS set up my new calcium reactor when my zenias started wilting & my fish were acting stressed. we tested the water & the calcium was at 1200 so i cut it off.

will this have long range effects? doing a major water change today & added iodine to help the zenias.

thanks for any input. Kelly

what test kit did you use? I would think you got a bad result. Not sure at what level, but the calcium would start to precipitate out of the water. It would literally look like it was snowing in the tank. Did you do it twice to confirm? If that is a true result I would do a series of water changes to try and bring it down.
