Too much flow for a 70g?

Hey Guys,
I have a 70 gallon display dimensions are 36.5 x 18.5 x 25. I have two 6045's. Both 6045's are on the back wall of the aquarium one in the upper left and one in the upper right corner. Both are aimed towards the center of the front glass angled slightly up. In the pic there's only one on the left but imagine a second one on the right so they would be symmetrical.

With two on they are pushing my sand around like whoa and causing a sand storm, especially in the bottom left corner. When I turn the left one off the sand storm stops and the tank clears right up but I'm worried with only one this is not enough flow. Any one have any advice on placement. I have SPS in the top of the tank and LPS and zoas in the middle and on the bottom. Thanks for any help.

Move them lower and angle them up more and further out- corner to corner. That is what I would try.

By corner to corner do you mean to point them each straight forward or at the opposite corner so the flow is like an X?
