Too much flow for a bubble tip?

I just got the sure flow 1600 upgrade kit for my maxi -jet powehead. First of all I can't believe how mush more flow you get with the upgrade, wow! Everything looked great the first day I put it in(yesterday). Tonight my bubbletip anemone has some tenticles that are flat and deflated looking, not all just some. Could this be because of the sudden new flow where there wasn't a whole lot before?

could be....did the sure flow stir up your sand by any chance? or create a detritus storm off your rocks?

how big is your tank and where is the Nem in relation to the power head? i would have to say BTA's like high flow so i dont think it is a flow issue...might just be acclimating to the new fresh air...wheni first put my GBTA in my tank all his tentacles went flat and some of them spun off in the flow...now about 5 or so tentacles less he is quite happy...

i just wish the stupid clowns would stop biting his tentacles off now...as small as the male is he is certainly a bully...routinely beats the tar out of my mini carpet nem and then bites the tentacles off my BTA
