Too much flow for clown?

I just purchased a juvenille clown who is quarantining in my 6 gallon nano cube and is soon to be placed in my 24g Nano Cube with my other (larger) clown (no other fish).

I feel bad because it seems like he is really having a hard time swimming around even in the 6 gallon. I just have the stock pump on both tanks, and I'm worried the 24g will be even stronger of a current for him.

I did put an air pump in the 6 gallon because he seemed to be hanging out at the top a lot the first day or so, and now he's all over the tank, but seems like he is getting quite the workout.

Any suggestions on what I can do to make it easier for him or will he be fine? I know clowns aren't the best swimmers, but my other one seems to do fine in the 24g. I just don't want it to be impossible for him when I switch him over.

Thanks!

If he is having a hard time swimming against the current, you will have to reduce it some how. Small clowns can become stressed if they are constantly fighting the flow. Larger clowns seem to be able to deal with much higher flow rates.
