Too Much Flow for my Brain

I have a favia type brain coral, which I have had for about two months. It has done well and has shown no sign of distress.

Yesterday, I upgraded the pumps in my tank and basically doubled the flow to about 40X turnover rate. (I put to Koralia 1's in my 20gH tank.) No flow is being directed directly at the brain, but those pumps do push alot of water.

I guess my question is, now I notice that my brain coral kind-of pulsates in the flow. I never noticed it that much before, but now it is more pronounced. Is this normal?

Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

Swaying a little bit in the flow isn't bad, but if it's being pushed in by the flow, then it's probably too much. For a non SPS reef, I would aim for about 30x. You probably upgraded to more flow than you needed.
