I will try removing the biowheel to see what happens. I have about 25lbs of live figi and tonga rock with a regular sandbed. Not a deep sandbed. The water I use is ro/di. I would like to try the seachems nitrate reducer. Can I place it into the the extra media cantainer that I have with the emperer 400?
