too much flow

I have set up a new sump and i am getting to many micro bubbles. I believe this is due to the fact that i have a mag 18 on a 75 gallon. I purchased the pump recently after some bad advice. I did not like the amount of flow from the beginning. Is ther anyway that i can slow the flow on the mag 18 such as a ball valve. And if not is there anyone else out there that needs a bigger pump and would like to trade.

You can certainly put a ball valve on the return line to slow the flow down. Some people tee off the return and use that extra flow for other applications; refugium, protein skimmer, chiller, phosphate reator, etc.

That is a huge pump. I would get rid of it and get something more appropriately sized.
