Too small for nano wavebox?

I'm in final equipment planning/purchase stage for my new nano reef. The tank's 24x20x20 dimensions seem to put it right at Tunze's minimum size recommendation for the nano wavebox.

Anybody out there have one up and running now in a similar size tank? I'd greatly appreciate hearing just how it works.

It will probably work but not particularly well, the wave will be short and very fast. I wouldn't do it if it was my tank.
