The short story is I ordered several components to do a new tank and ended up taking a 2 year break due to life. Everything I have is new in the box and I would like to know:

1. Is this still good choices in Equiptment?
2. If I were starting the build today would I want somthing else?
3. While money doesn't grow on trees I do like to buy good Equiptment.
4. What else would you reccomend for a mixed reef build?

Tank cad lights 50g rimless with stand
Tunze Osmulator
Bubble Magus NAC6 skimmer
2x ecotech mp10's
Ecotech battery backup
Ecotech Radion xr30 ( sending it in for the pro upgrade)
Eheim jäger 150w heater
Custom sump with sock filter
Two little fishes media reactor
Dry rock 80#
Red sea coral pro salt
Salifert test kits
RODI (cant recall the brand at the moment but it is good)
Return pump is rated for tank

What on this list would you replace?
What would you add?
Would you delete anything?

Thanks for any help you can provide. I hope to start the build in the next 30 days.

if the membranes and filters are still good in the RO/DI you are good to go. I dont see anything wrong with your list. test kits may be expired just double check those

I might worry about the salt, test kits and test battery back up
And you should start soaking the dry rock now to lessen the phosphate

I plan on running some water thru the RODI and testing the TDS. Had a membrane go bad on an older unit years ago and learned the importance of spot checking the hard way.

Thanks

I think that the Eco tech MP10 and the tunze osumlator are bad and I will give you 10 bucks for them LOL.
Your list looks very good ,nice choice in equipment I would add either a Neptune Apex Jr or a Digital Aquatics lite for 120 bucks, that way you can control your heater, all heaters can fail.

If the salt went through to many climate changes it can start to harden also if battery back up sat to long I worry that its onboard charger won't recognize a complete dead battery

Most of that still looks great, the only piece I would worry about is the test kits but others have already mentioned that. Looks like you made some great choices in equipment.
