Tools needed to frag an Encrusting Montis?

Just wondering how you can make a nice clean cut or frag of an encrusting monti? I have heard of using a dremel, however I don't really want to purchase a special powertool just to do this.

Are there any other options? I know I could try using a chisel, however that would yield unexpected results. Is there some sort of attachment I could buy for my cordless drill or something I could use to do this?

a diamond typed wet saw that is the best way to frag. or take the coral to your LFS and have them do it for a free frag ?

Hammer and chisel is what I used to frag up my superman. It makes some small misc. pieces. Some come off with rock and others pop off the base rock.

I have a dremmel. What bit would I use? I need to frag some more superman.

Do you just score it and pop it off the rock or cut through the whole rock?

I score and pop, yes. If I can I will cut all the way through. I use the little white saw blade for mine.

I agree about the Guiness!!

Thanks, I see you can buy a diamond coated sawwheel that attaches the a dremel.

I just didn't feel like spending $40-$50 on something for fragging, but I guess in the long run it will be worth it.
