Top down shots

Ed,

yesterday I was feeding main dt with PE myses. I know you through it all in, I have been afraid to do that because water look super cloudy so I have been rinsing them with RO water, but yesterday I cuted a big chunk mixed it in ro water and throught it all in with the white cloudy water and I got a huge feeding response from the corals.

I noticed extended filaments coming out of some sprouts of several colonies with some kind of slime. I have only seen something like that when I dosed interceptor in the tank.
I do not see that kind of response not even in qt dt where I feed coral food 3 x week.

Have you noticed this kind of response when you feed PE myses??
not sure if this is beneficial? When I noticed it did NOT look kind of healthy, but I am no acro Dr.
please give me your opinion about this

Would you feed PE m. everyother day and though all in?? or every other day is to much?

Thanks a lot

Yes, that's normal, it's a feeding response.

You can feed it every other day if you want, it's up to you. Just be aware it's very rich in nutrients so keep an eye on your levels.

It also will collapse the bubbles in your skimmer for numerous hours.

Thanks Ed,

one more question:
I know you do not rinse the fresh seafood you cut for your fish, and you do not rinse the PE myses. do you feed any other commercially sold frozen food ?? if you do, do you rinse them or put everything in??

I believe you once told me you also feed frozen plankton?
I just want to know if "eveything in" aplies to every frozen food you feed?

thanks a lot

Yes, I dump it all in no matter what food

I also feed fresh frozen clams & musssels...........they are really messy. I don't feed these as often now as when I had my Muellers CBB.

Ed,
the raspberry milli looks spectacular!

how is the HW ? any pics of that one

best regards

It's coming along........disappointed in myself as it should be a 4" colony by now. I shoved it down too low in the tank due to overcrowding.

Looking great as always!

Thank you nightOwl!

Homewrecker--not a great pic but pretty nice colors for a small piece.

great, superb colors!

Ok. The home wrecker is nice but so is that blue beauty on the right. What's that?

That is the AV99 Blueberry Cheesecake (grow out frag)- the blue tips are actually more intense than in this pic. It has uniqueness to it's overall coloration as well.

Ed do you have an updated FTS by any chance?

They never come out good and the tank is all frag racks........not much as a display. I'll try to put something up.

Big E - No worries I was curious as to how packed this thing looked from standing in front of it. Thanks again for continuing to share. Great pics and very inspirational for those of us to drool over your colors and corals and wish our frags grow faster...lol.
