Top LFS's to see while visiting?

My son and I will be down in the Miami area this weekend (assuming the storm doesn't make a turn). We will be in the Sunrise area on Sat and heading down to Kendall on Sun but don't mind a drive for a good store. We have 1/2 the day Sat and all day Sun available to hit some local stores so which stores would you suggest?
We are primarily interested in anemones (from carpets to rock flowers) and clowns (especially any of the rarer WC's). Also LPS and zoa fans with no interest in SPS.

The only store I know we will be stopping at thus far is VIP Reef.

So based on that, any recommendations?

Hello, welcome to Miami. There an LFS by my house that you may be interested in, they have some of the most stunning corals I've seen. I've seen some anemone's and was shut in there on Monday when they received some really cool designer clowns. The shop is on Bird road, about 15/20 from Kendall proper. Ocean View aquariums on 6883 SW 40th

Granted, I am quite new to the hobby so all the bright shiny stuff still impresses me. But prior to beginning all of this my girlfriend and I visited upwards of ten fish and reef shops and turns out that the cleanest tanks and nicest corals were right in our back yard.

Hydra is always a good place to visit. They have many designer clowns and a few anemones

Bird rd is the place to go. There are about 5 stores within a mile or so. Strictly fish, aquarium kingdom(new location for them or second location) i have been, reefbox, exotic aquariums, and oceanview.my favorite is strictly, but i haven't been to the aquarium kingdom yet, just noticed it a week ago

Thanks for the input. Looks like I can hit quite a few near Bird Rd on Sat and then 3 more on Sunday down by the zoo.

Hydra is a must, its right off 95 too so its easy to stop at on your way to Kendall...

Exotic is good, strictly. All the bird road ones are good. There are two by US1 as well.

I get the feeling I am going to need to bring more money with me, and to make sure that I have some pretty good excuses for my wife when we come home with stuff other than drinks in coolers.

If you're going South..then there is Reefsmart, Aquarium Kingdom, Reeftop and VIP.

If you're going Bird Road then visit Sctrictly, Exotic and Oceanview. Reefbox has closed its doors.

You can't go wrong all store have different things and I'm sure you will be happy and broke if you hit them all.

Have fun!

Reef box went out of business. No longer there.

Just visited the stores on Bird Rd. Strictly Fish was the best selection and healthiest looking tanks in my opinion. I know this is an older thread but I wanted to give them credit.

Professional Fish Keepers in Coral Springs was the best looking and most fish I've seen at any stores. Would be good to stop by on the way down or back up. Good corals as well, got a vibrantly purple gorg there.
