Torch concerns?

I've had this frag for over a month now.
It was doing fine in QT, and I moved it over about 2 weeks ago.

Over the last few days I've noticed that part of one branch, seems to have started to "discolor."
Not sure what this means. Have anyone ever seen this before? Is it bleaching or is there too much flow (its moving with constant flow, but I don't think it is too much flow)?
I purchased it at a LFS, and everything else in the tank is fine.
I checked the parameters, they are fine as well.

The only other thing that comes to mind is... a few days ago I poured in some RO water directl into the tank (no sump on this tank) after coming back from a trip (the ATO system had some problems). Some of the RO water may have came in contact with the coral before mixing completely. I doubt this could have been the catalyst (since the branch right next to it is fine), but thought I'd mention it.

BTW, I've been dosing phyto about 2x a week, should I be feeding more often perhaps or spot feeding (I've read that some people spot feed torch coral!?)

(the tank (40g) does not have too many coral in it at this time)?

A pic might be helpful here. I doubt the FW had anything to do with it.

Yes, you can feed it somthing small like cyclopeeze or chopped mysis.

thanks for the reply...
sorry, I will post a pic asap... (a friend is borrowing my camera)...

the condition is the same this evening...

I'm using a coralife 192w PC set up. It is about 1/2 way up from the bottom.

Today it looked healthy, but the faded area is still visible. A employee at a LFS mentioned it my just be getting used to the new tank. After rechecking the Sal last night, I found it was a bit low (1.022), I have made adjustments to correct that, but I doubt that is what caused the faded color.

The LFS employee may be right. If it came from a tank with different lighting this does sometimes happen. If the torch looks lush then it probably is doing just fine. The only thing that concerns me is that color fading is usually caused by strong lighting. It's call bleaching. Your lighting sounds like a good amount not too intense.
