uh oh, I hear sirens.
In all honesty though are you adding these all at once? I wouldn't add more than 1 or two at a time. You need to let the tank adjust to the new bio load. Also you should qt the fish first so that you don't introduce disease into the tank. It's a lot harder to get it out once it's in.
BTW, the siren comment is because a yellow tang needs more space than your tank will allow. I would consider getting something different.

Are you sure you want 4 percs? I could see trying it in a larger system, but in a 55G you might wind up with some serious territorial issues. I have a pair in my 75G, and the female is very protective of her territory.
As for the tang, well a 55G is kind of small. If you start with a really small one you should be ok for awhile. Just be prepared if it should outgrow the tank.

HOW LARGE A TANK DOES IT NEED? I'M SUPRISED, BUT AWARE WE DON'T HAVE ROOM FOR ANY MORE FISH. WE HAD TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF PERC AND IT ENDED IN THE DEATH OF ONE. WE WERE ADVISED TO GET FOUR TO REDUCE THE TERRITORIAL NATURE. IT HAS WORKED THUS FAR. THEY PLAY TOGETHOR VERY WELL AND ACTUALLY COME TO MY HAND IF I AM ARRANGING ROCK OR WHAT NOT.

Are your percs still juveniles? You may not see any problems until they mature. Especially when it comes time for them to lay eggs. They might pair up and start fighting for territory, or theres a chance they might develop a pecking order in that case the weakest clown will be bullied. Theres a good chance you will wind up with another dead clown.
Personally I always suggest just one pair of clowns per tank. I think they're happier to have their own territory.
