Torch coral broken mantle

Someone was fragging a branching torch coral for me and broke the mantle. Crack runs the entire length of the tube. He pretty much pronounced it a goner and gave it to me for free. Is there anything I can do to give it a fighting chance?

You can try sealing the split with glue then keep it ina low light area for a few days.

I hacked a head in half when i tried fragging another branch of my hammer, both peices are doing great.. I'm thinking they will make a full recovery..
